(CNN Spanish) - The Civil Police of Sao Paulo, Brazil, denounced Tuesday the justice of the model Najila Trindade, accusing her of procedural fraud, slander and extortion.

MIRA: Police dismiss accusations of rape against Neymar

This is the model that had accused football player Neymar of rape.

The Police had already decided to file the complaint against the player after detecting inconsistencies in the story and the alleged evidence provided by the model. According to the complaint filed by Trindade on May 31, Neymar would have forced her to have sex during a meeting at a hotel in Paris.

When that complaint was made public, the player soon manifested on a social network vehemently denying the facts and calling himself a victim of extortion by the model.

The scandal, which initially had a great global media impact, went off as researchers detected signs of fragility in the model version.

MIRA: What do you think of Barcelona about the possibility of Neymar returning?

Trindade's lawyer, Cosme Araújo, told CNN that for now he will not speak out about the accusation his client faces as he is still analyzing the file that, in his words, "is extensive and complex."
