The festival, whose activities will continue until the 21st of this month, includes various small and medium projects, in addition to the participation of handicrafts and heritage owners, as the festival's products focus on several sectors such as clothing, shoes, detergents and handicrafts, in addition to some projects producing household foodstuffs.

The director of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority in Hama, Ghassan Gerges, told SANA reporter that what distinguishes the popular market is the wide participation of project owners in different governorates who offer their products to the consumer directly and without an intermediary, and therefore prices are close to the cost price in addition to the distinguished offers offered by a number of participants. With the aim of promoting their goods and supporting the Syrian industry and the national product.

Gerges indicated that this festival is held entirely at the expense of the authority, so the participants were given places to display their products for free in addition to paying accommodation costs to encourage them to participate in this festival and the upcoming festivals, pointing out that small and medium enterprises had an important role during the years of the terrorist war on our country in providing Various types of goods and products because most of their owners continued to produce, unlike the large projects that stopped as a result of their systematic exposure to terrorism, pointing out that the current festival is an appropriate opportunity to support and encourage owners of small and medium enterprises to continue to work and introduce their products.

In a meeting with a number of project owners participating in the festival, Soheir Ammar, a representative of one of the shampoo companies, indicated that her participation comes with the aim of promoting the product and offering new varieties at cheaper prices than the local market, in addition to contributing to supporting the national product, explaining that the turnout was good from visitors, especially in the evening period. What added a great aesthetic to the festival.

The owner of a detergent company from Aleppo, Fouad Sabbagh, explained that participation in this festival is an appropriate opportunity to introduce his products and support the consumer, while the participant Adnan Zibo noted the great demand from visitors for his products after reducing their prices to nearly the cost. The incubator's participation in fourteen pavilions aims to support the festival, promote the handicraft product and protect it from extinction, and its desire to be present in all governorates.

Amer Jaber, sales manager of a food company, confirmed that the festival is a favorable opportunity to present products to a larger segment of the visiting public and to communicate directly with the consumer without an intermediary to know his needs and work to meet them in the future, in addition to informing participants from different governorates about each other’s products, which creates an additional market for those products.

Visitors to the festival indicated that holding such events in one place contributes to alleviating the financial burden and effort on them as a result of the availability of most of the goods and merchandise they need at competitive prices. Moataz Alloush pointed out that the current festival provided him with the opportunity to purchase a number of household necessities at prices lower than the market, while Mamoun demanded Saraqibi with a wider participation of companies and entrepreneurs in the upcoming festivals.
