Three years after crossing the English Channel perched on his Flyboard, the French inventor Franky Zapata presents the JetRacer, a "flying car" with vertical take-off.
The machine, powered by ten small kerosene-powered reactors, has a single seated pilot.
Half-car, half-helicopter, the JetRacer could travel at 250 km/hour, with a range of 40 minutes.

Built on a modular chassis, the JetRacer can be declined in several versions depending on the target markets: civil, military and leisure.
It can also be piloted remotely, like a drone.
The Zapata company is building two other machines, which will participate in a test campaign in the United States, to which it invites all those who dream of
“becoming the pioneers of the mobility of the future”
to apply on its site.
After a selection, 25 participants will be selected.
The company is working on an electric hybrid version, in order to reduce fuel consumption and its CO2 emissions.
