Alessandro Michele leaves Gucci's creative direction

The future ex-creative director of the luxury brand has failed to revive sales with the same vigor as its competitors.


The luxury group Kering announced in a press release on Wednesday that Alessandro Michele is leaving Gucci, after seven years as creative director during which he

"greatly contributed to making Gucci what it is today"

, but without succeed in recent years in boosting sales with the same vigor as its competitors.
