Apple announced yesterday (Wednesday) the opening of a third development center in Israel - in Jerusalem.
Now, the company has begun to recruit hardware and chip engineers to join the 2,000 existing employees in the other branches in Israel.
"I am happy to share that we, Apple, are opening a new development site - in Jerusalem!" wrote Elad Wertheimer, an Apple recruiter, on the LinkedIn social network.
"The site will take part in the flagship projects we are leading from Israel, chief among them the development of the future processors for the Mac. In addition, I would love to hear and talk with design and hardware engineers."

The new engineers who will join the new branch of the technology giant in the capital will work on the development of Apple's next-generation processor - M2, similar to the teams in the company's development centers in Haifa and Tzerzeliya who are responsible for the development of the latest generations of chips.
Meanwhile, the location of the new headquarters in Jerusalem has not been announced.
Last month, the company unveiled a development center in Rawabi, in the territory of the Palestinian Authority - after years of being kept completely secret.
Over 60 engineers are currently working on the company's main technological developments in the territory of the Authority, as part of a partnership with the Palestinian high-tech company ASAL Technologies.
Also, last February it was revealed that Microsoft is also expected to open a new development center in the capital, where hundreds of employees will be employed.
Apparently, the center is expected to be built in the new entrance project to the city.
