From now on there are corporals and staff corporals in the Bundeswehr

The Bundeswehr is creating a new level for executives: the best team soldiers will in future have the new rank of corporal.
The first four corporals in Germany were promoted at a ceremonial roll call in the Clausewitz barracks in Burg (Jerichower Land) in Saxony-Anhalt - two from the army, one from the air force and one from the navy, as the Ministry of Defense announced.
This means that there is now a corporal and a staff corporal above the rank of corporal corporal.
There should be 1,400 corporals by April 2022
The Bundeswehr wants to make the career of the teams more attractive with 5,000 new posts by 2031.
The first 1,400 corporals should be appointed by the beginning of April 2022.
The transport is said to be associated with better pay.
So far, soldiers in the team career could have achieved a maximum gross salary of around 2370 euros with an allowance of 43 euros.
Corporals will be paid higher salaries in the future.
According to the German Armed Forces, a corporal has a gross plus of 51 euros on the pay slip.
