In a report from France 2 which will be broadcast this Thursday evening, several women accuse ex-minister Nicolas Hulot of rape and assault

Before the broadcast of the France 2 program "Special Envoy" scheduled this Thursday evening and in which several women accuse him of rape and sexual assault, Nicolas Hulot took the lead on Wednesday, announcing on BFMTV that he was leaving "Definitely public life".

The former minister also fiercely denied these accusations.

"And once again a woman was raped"

In reaction, Marlène Schiappa, the Minister for Citizenship said Thursday evening on BFMTV "hope that justice will open an investigation if there are elements" against the TV host and former minister of the environment.

The Minister for Citizenship, however, clarified that she “did not have the elements” contained in the France 2 report.

According to her, “the prescription is for the judge to establish.

And once again a woman has been raped and it is prescribed but maybe the other is not, ”she continued.

Marlène Schiappa clarified that "the justice is independent and I do not give any instructions to the justice".
