The sordid death of Mustafa A. has long remained discreet and its conclusion unknown.
Killed and then dismembered at the end of 2021 near Metz (Moselle), the file of this 54-year-old Moroccan national has hit two other sinister cases in the same region in recent days.
The discovery of a headless man first, on September 15 in the forest of Briey – the criminal track is not privileged – then that of a woman found without head or limbs on September 19, always in the same sector.
Cases with a sordid common point – mutilations – and which for a time raised the specter of a serial killer on social networks, even pushing the local gendarmerie to publish a press release to deny “rumors”.
