The monthly shopping festival “Made in Syria” held by the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside in the city of Jableh witnessed a turnout by citizens to secure their needs of various goods and merchandise at competitive prices.
One hundred local industrial companies from several governorates offer real discounts on their products during the festival, whose activities continue in the former Paradise Cinema hall, according to Mohamed Omar, the supervisor of the festival administration, in a statement to SANA reporter, indicating that it achieves advantages for the participating industrialists and merchants in terms of promoting their products and direct communication with consumers, in addition to To incentive offers of prizes for citizens and distribution of free vouchers to the families of martyrs.
Yasser Issa, managing director of one of the companies in the festival, considered that it constitutes an important opportunity to promote the company's products, with a discount rate of 10 percent, in addition to gifts offered to visitors within a draw that takes place at the end of the festival.
“The aim of the participation is to provide our products at the most appropriate price for the citizens,” said Julnar Yousef, a sales representative of one of the companies, confirming the provision of offers and discounts of up to 30%, while Marwa Al-Saidi and Ali Qeshta from a detergent company considered that the company’s products are offered with discounts of up to 20%, and it was well received before citizens.
And each of the shoppers, Anaam Sateef, Wafaa Ali, Somaya Diop and Ahlam Muhanna, considered the festival an opportunity to buy goods at lower prices than local markets, in addition to benefiting from the offers and discounts offered by companies.
