Second round in negotiations between the government and the unions around the reorganization of EDF.
The Minister of the Economy, Bruno Le Maire, receives Wednesday, one after the other, the leader of the CFDT, Laurent Berger, and that of the CGT, Philippe Martinez.
Employee representatives are strongly opposed to the reform of the electrician, even though Paris is negotiating with Brussels to bring the file to fruition.
The executive wants to break this united and unprecedented union front by encouraging the reformists (CFDT and CFE-CGC) to endorse the reform by means of modifications to the initial plan.

In the meantime, the four energy union federations (CGT, CFE-CGC, CFDT and FO) reaffirmed their unity in a press release published on Tuesday.
The unions are opposed in particular to the fate of Enedis, the manager of the local electricity distribution network.
