It's a welcome boost a few days before Christmas for eligible low-income households.
The government has just unveiled the dates for sending the bonus of 100 euros granted to the 5.8 beneficiaries of the energy check that Prime Minister Jean Castex announced on September 15.
The aim is to help low-income households to pay their gas and electricity bills, etc. after the price increases of recent months.
Thus, according to the calendar posted online by the Ministry of Ecological Transition, the energy checks will be sent to their beneficiary by mail, to their home, from December 13 to December 17 for the inhabitants of the Auvergne - Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne Franche regions. -Comté, Brittany, Center - Val-de-Loire, Corsica, Grand-Est (except Bas-Rhin), Hauts-de-France, Île-de-France, Normandy, Pays de la Loire, overseas departments Sea as well as those of Creuse, Corrèze or Deux-Sèvres.

For the inhabitants of the other departments of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Bas-Rhin, Occitanie and Paca, it will be necessary to be more patient since the letters will only be sent from December 20 to 22.
Two to four days later in mailboxes
Due to the mailing delays, eligible households should find their check in their mailbox between 2 and 4 days later.
Note that beneficiaries who have chosen to automatically allocate their check to their supplier will receive, from December 22, by email or mail confirmation of the allocation of their energy check by their operator.
Created in 2015 to replace social energy tariffs, namely the basic necessity tariff (TPN) for electricity and the special solidarity tariff (TSS) for gas, the amount of the energy check varies, depending on criteria tax, between 48 euros and 277 euros and it is sent between the end of March and the end of April of each year.
The exceptional extension granted by the executive is however fixed, each household receiving 100 euros.
