EU Commission invests 365 million euros in start

The EU Commission is looking for innovations in the areas of health, the environment and social policy. Dozens of start-ups from 16 EU countries are now receiving money for this.

The EU Commission invests hundreds of millions of euros in start-ups to promote innovation.

The EU Commissioner for Innovations, Marija Gabriel, announced that investments will be made in the areas of health, the environment and social policy.

According to the EU Commission, a total of 65 start-ups and small and medium-sized companies from 16 countries will receive 365 million euros - each of them up to 17 million euros.

The companies were selected by the European Innovation Council established in June 2020.

As part of the project, money has already been invested twice in the first half of this year: According to information, 111 companies received more than 500 million euros.
