Gold prices fell, approaching their lowest levels in seven months today, affected by the strength of the dollar and expectations of a rate hike.
And according to Reuters, gold fell in spot transactions 0.2 percent to $ 1760.90 an ounce, and US futures contracts fell 0.3 percent to $ 1759.
As for other precious metals, silver fell in spot transactions 0.2 percent to $19.15 an ounce, platinum 0.9 percent to $867.71, while palladium rose 0.8 percent to $147.82.
