Gold prices fell today, with the dollar staying near its highest level in nearly three weeks.
Reuters reported that gold fell in spot transactions 0.20 percent to 1775.40.
And US gold futures fell 0.43 percent to 1790.30 dollars.
And the dollar index settled near the highest level in three weeks, which was recorded earlier in the session.
Among other precious metals, silver fell in spot transactions 0.7 percent to $20.14 an ounce, while platinum rose 0.27 percent to $935.65 and palladium rose 0.30 percent to $2152.60.
