The average daily production of oil and gas condensate in Russia in the first half of this month increased by 1.7 percent compared to the same period last month.
Russia Today website quoted a source familiar with official statistics on oil production as saying that the average daily production in the period from the first of this month to the 15th of this month amounted to 1.398 million tons, while the average daily production last month was at the level of 1.374 million tons.
Since the spring of 2021, oil production in Russia has gradually increased, but it declined in March 2022 after the West imposed a set of illegal sanctions under the pretext of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
