After estimating, last spring, that France was not dynamic enough in its variant surveillance strategy, compared to other European countries, Philippe Juvin resumed his criticism of the French government.
Candidate for the Les Républicains nomination for the presidential election, mayor of Garenne-Colombes, he is also professor of medicine and head of emergency at the Georges Pompidou European Hospital in Paris.
“A year and a half later we only sequence 0.9% of withdrawals, where the British have sequenced 10% over the last four weeks,”
he said on Europe 1 on November 29.
