This Friday, in accordance with "requisitions taken in consultation with the national anti-terrorist prosecutor's office", the Nancy prosecutor's office (Meurthe-et-Moselle) withdrew from the kidnapping of little Mia, in April 2021 in the Vosges.
It is now the anti-terrorist pole of the Paris judicial court which is in charge of the case.
A choice, announced in June but implemented on July 1, which results from the fact that, according to the investigations carried out so far, "these actions were an integral part of the violent action plan of the ultra-right group called

aimed at the State and its representations", indicated François Pérain, public prosecutor of Nancy.

Eight-year-old Mia was abducted on April 13, 2021 from Poulières, a village in the Vosges, where the little girl lived with her grandmother, by her mother, helped by three men.
She had been arrested a few days later in Switzerland with the girl, of whom she no longer had custody.
Indicted for coup plots
In June 2021, Rémy Daillet-Wiedemann (DW), at the head of a conspiracy network obsessed with the placement of children, had been indicted and imprisoned in particular for complicity in the kidnapping of a 15-year-old minor in gang organized and association of criminals with a view to committing the crime of abduction of a fifteen-year-old minor in an organized gang.
In all, 11 people - including Lola Montemaggi, Mia's mother - have been indicted in this case.
For Rémy Daillet's lawyer, this change "is only further proof of the treatment of judicial disfavor reserved since April 2021" for his client "while there is no material proof of his alleged complicity with the
kidnappers
. of Mia”.
“Anti-terrorism justice has as its compass a principle of judicial precaution dictated by imperatives of security which in law allow serious attacks on fundamental freedoms.
It must therefore be reserved for acts of terrorism and not be misused as is the case here, ”pleads Me Jean-Christophe Basson-Larbi in a press release.
At the end of October 2021, Rémy Daillet was indicted, independently of the Mia case, for "criminal terrorist association".
He is suspected of having planned "coup plans and other violent actions", including an attack on a Masonic lodge in eastern France.
