The price of gold in the local market rose by 3 thousand Syrian pounds, more than the price that it settled on since the beginning of this month.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmen Association for Crafting and Making Jewelry in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 209 thousand Syrian pounds and a purchase price of 208,500 pounds, while a gram of 18 karat selling price reached 179,143 pounds and a purchase of 178643 pounds.
The association confirmed that the craftsmen should abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens who wish to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by the association and distributed phone numbers for complaints 2248005 and 0991937718.
