According to the first elements of the investigation, Celestine lost her life due to a cell phone being charged while taking a bath.

If the teenager had initially been resuscitated thanks to a rapid cardiac massage provided by the teams of the anti-crime brigade (Bac), alerted by the parents present at the home, she had however been evacuated in critical condition to the hospital. from Mâcon.

The firefighters and the Smur had also transported the second young girl, Celestine's friend, in a state of shock.

If the latter was able to come out on Tuesday, Celestine, finally transferred in a state of brain death to the Bron hospital of the University Hospital Center (Chu) of Lyon (Rhône), succumbed to her injuries.
