2021-04-15T11:04:48.720Z

This new service combines the convenience of digital technology with the conviviality of a small convenience store.

It is in the heart of the capital, avenue de la Motte Picquet in the posh 7th arrondissement, that the brand is launching its new concept: the first pedestrian and bicycle pick-up point.

Halfway between e-commerce and convenience stores, this new service complements Monoprix plus, the online ordering offer of the Casino group.

On the storefront, the slogan is catchy "

Click and remove, this store is the largest Monoprix in France

" because in fact, in this 40m² stall, more than 28,000 references can be easily collected. and free - from 50 euros of purchase - on the entire Monoprix range: food, textiles, decoration, etc.

Facing new uses

For the brand, the objective is to adapt to new uses that have emerged as a result of the health crisis, in particular the surge in e-commerce, “

this new concept, which combines physical and digital, enhances the solutions that we are proposing to massively win over customers in the coming months.

This will also allow us to bring the Monoprix brand to places where it is not yet present

”declares Diane Coliche, Executive General Director of Monoprix.

And the deployment of this new concept should not be long, it will be implemented "

initially in certain monop 'stores in Paris and in Île-de-France - by the end of June - and while waiting to be able to open other stores on the Motte-Picquet model, in sectors that are not yet covered by our brand,

More than a relay point

The difference with a relay point?

Monoprix intends to turn these stores of a new kind into “

multiservice hubs

”.

In addition to the extra offer that customers can find on site, they will have the opportunity to have their bikes repaired at the recovery station in front of the store, to print photos with Cheerz, to collect parcels with Mondial Relay or to forge links with the inhabitants of the district thanks to the Mamie Boom and Mon Super Voisin platforms which have a dedicated space.
