Oil prices rose by more than a dollar today after a report of a significant drop in US crude inventories.
Reuters reported that the price of West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose $1.08, or 1.5 percent, to $71.57 a barrel, after increasing 35 cents yesterday.
Brent crude futures rose $1.03, or 1.4 percent, to $75.39 a barrel, after rising 44 cents yesterday.
