Food at gas stations is usually eaten to quench the hunger that has suddenly erupted in the middle of a long drive.

Usually his identification is not of sophisticated food, certainly not of the haute cuisine.

Energy company Sonol and chef Guy Peretz have decided to change this image through a new initiative: the venture, GOLDEN PITA, will offer grilled chef dishes, in frontal preparation in front of the customer.

For this purpose, Chef Guy Peretz, one of the leaders in the food trucks trend in Israel, has built a unique menu of meat dishes in unique and delicious combinations.



Among the dishes that will be served: veal kebab in pita with grilled vegetables and tahini;

Asado disassembled in prana, with smoked onion, chimichurri and srischa, Greek gyros in a special pita;

Asado Wagio burger with brioche bun and fresh vegetables.

The dishes will be sold at prices ranging from NIS 25-40.

Close to employment areas

The trucks will be stationed at Sonol's refueling complexes, in areas with active vehicle traffic and close to employment areas.

In the first phase, a pilot will take place in 6 complexes: Misgav station on Ben Zvi Street in Tel Aviv, Maccabim station in Ramat Gan, Shelly station in Rishon Lezion, Yarkonim station in Petah Tikva, Ad Halom station at Ashdod junction and Sde Yoav station.

Later, the pilot will be expanded to more areas and within a year the project is expected to include 30 complexes.

Chef Guy Peretz specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, elite Moroccan cuisine and Greek cuisine.

He is a graduate of the schools: Notre Dame Paris, La Cordon Bleu London, Barry Calibo Belgium.

Peretz, a third-generation chef and butcher family from the Moroccan city of Casablanca, has written best-selling cookbooks and co-founded more than 200 culinary restaurants and businesses in Israel and abroad.
