A recent study reported that swimming pool water mixed with chlorine can inactivate the virus that causes Covid 19 in a very short time, up to only 30 seconds.
According to the British Daily Mail newspaper, virologists from Imperial College London studied the effect of different concentrations of chlorine in the water on the Corona virus, and concluded that the risk of transmission of "Covid 19" through the water of swimming pools is incredibly very low.
Study author Wendy Barclay said: "We have conducted these experiments in our highly-contained laboratories in London, and under these safe conditions, we can measure the ability of the virus to infect cells, which is the first step in its transmission."
Barclay explained that by mixing the virus with swimming pool water that was delivered to us by the "water kids" team, we can prove that the virus does not live in swimming pool water and is no longer contagious.
