The Asian Basketball Federation announced the program of the Asian Championship for U-18 Youth, which will be held in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on the twenty-first of this month and will continue until the twenty-eighth of it.

The teams were distributed among the groups according to their international classification, so our team came in the third group along with the teams of China Taipei, the Philippines and Qatar. The first group included the teams of Iran, Lebanon and Japan, while the second group consisted of China, India and South Korea.

Ten teams divided into three groups will participate in the tournament. The group leader and runner-up qualify directly to the quarter-finals, accompanied by the two best third-placed teams.

The team invited to the preparatory training camp for the tournament, which started today in Aleppo, included Anas Al-Hajji, Muhammad Talaj, Gad Desouki, Michel Issa, Issa Musa, Mahmoud Khan Toumani, Abdel Aziz Dabdoub, Majed Harami, Omar Miknas, Muhammad Hajj Ibrahim, George Constantine, George Freeh, Ghaith Al-Shami, Rafi Jawichian and Mumradig Maradij. Abed under the supervision of coach Hilal Dajani.
