WhatsApp does not usually share tips or update on upcoming features, so most of the tips are discovered by the "heavy" users of the platform, who then share them online.

Alongside this, we find the upcoming updates most of the time thanks to sites that deal with leaks from the platform, and users who are registered for the beta version of WhatsApp who receive updates before everyone else.

In the "exception" step, WhatsApp released a number of shortcuts on the computer keyboard, for those who use the browser version or WhatsApp software.

So far to get to the shortcuts, users were required to dig into the settings screen, but now, WhatsApp is releasing them to everyone on its Twitter page.
