Wall Street closed lower in the index united by Nasdaq and S&P.
According to Reuters, the Standard & Poor's 500 and Nasdaq indexes ended the trading session on Wall Street lower, amid fears that active moves to curb the highest level of inflation in decades might push the US economy into recession, which undermined investors' appetite for risk.
Shares of Meta Platforms, Alphabet and Twitter closed with losses, which also happened to the telecom services sector.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the trading session up 50.82 points, or 0.6 percent, to 31931.60 points, while the benchmark Standard & Poor's 500 index closed down 31.54 points, or 0.79 percent, to 3942.21 points.
The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 270.83 points, or 2.35 percent, to close at 11,264.45 points.
