Tonight all of Hollywood met to enjoy the 92nd edition of the Oscars, and with this ceremony, say goodbye to the 2020 awards season.
Brad Pitt took the statuette for Best Supporting Actor as well as in the Golden Globes, the SAG Awards and the BAFTA, while Laura Dern won the Oscar in the women's category.
This year "Joker" was positioned as the favorite film in the awards with 11 nominations. Its protagonist Joaquin Phoenix , won the award for Best Actor.
The film "1917", directed by Sam Mendes , won 3 statuettes from the 8 categories to which she was nominated.
The surprise of the night was "Parsite" which swept 4 awards for Best Film, Best Director, Best International Film, Best Original Screenplay, becoming the first film in a foreign language to make history at the Oscars.
