Heathrow third runway, appeal accepted

(ANSA) - LONDON, FEBRUARY 27 - A British appeals court upheld the appeal lodged by groups of ecologists, among others by the Labor Mayor of London, SadiqKhan, against the green light recently given after many hesitations by the Tory government of Boris Johnson on the project for the third pistadel Heathrow airport. According to the judge, Lord Lindblom, the executive did not give sufficient reassurance on the commitment to take into account, in the execution of the project, the objectives set by the Paris Agreement on the climate in the field of reduction of harmful emissions.
