In the space that simulates business rooms in the branch of the Swedish company Eshtaol, which is close to a large ultra-Orthodox population, a wig salon was first built in Israel.
Ikea wink at the ultra-Orthodox? Visitors to the new IKEA branch in Eshtaul were surprised to find a display room full of wigs designed for married ultra-Orthodox women.
It turns out that this is a business space that mimics one or the other business, with each branch displaying a different style of office.
The Ikea Eshtaol branch, an area where there is a large ultra-Orthodox public, is showing a wig salon for the first time in the business space. It should be noted that in all IKEA branches there is a display of separate sinks as well as separate beds, furniture suitable for the traditional and religious public in order to give options to the general population.
"We couldn't believe when we saw the wig salon in the new branch, as if the place was intended for the ultra-Orthodox population to identify with what is on display in the branch," said one of the customers who visited the branch to "Israel Today".
Recall that about a month and a half ago, IKEA delayed the fifth store in Eshtaul due to building abnormalities.
The exhibition spaces in the branch include over 8,000 products and accessories that are displayed throughout the store, in 39 display and inspiration rooms and in three sample houses of various sizes. In addition, about 900 free parking spaces were built in the store complex.
IKEA declined to comment on the article.
