The Senate elections and parliamentary immunities council accepted Claudio Lotito's appeal against the election of Vincenzo Carbone in Palazzo Madama.
The junta, explained the president Maurizio Gasparri, has decided to "propose to the Senate the annulment of the election of Carbone in the Campania region".
The word then passes to the Palazzo Madama Hall.
According to Lotito, who had run as a candidate without being elected, that seat belongs to him.
According to what is learned, for the annulment of Carbone's election they voted 12 to 7. Senator Pietro Grasso did not participate in the vote.
Three senators were absent, two from the mixed group and one from the M5s.
