(ANSA) - CASERTA, 24 JAN - A man of Ghanaian origins died in Castel Volturno (Caserta) following a fire in the house where he lived with two other people, including his wife. Alerted by some residents, the Caserta Fire Brigade (Mondragone detachment) intervened; the flames involved an apartment on the top floor of a small building in via Machiavelli.
The firefighters managed to rescue two people inside the burning apartment while the man died from burns and from being poisoned by smoke. (HANDLE).
