However, depending on local circumstances, the text provides that the wearing of a mask can again be made compulsory by the prefect of the department but also according to a decision of the operator of a company or the organizer of a sporting event or cultural.

At the discretion of the prefect ... or the manager
From Wednesday, this health pass or a negative PCR or antigen test will be required to access certain establishments accommodating at least 50 people, such as museums, theaters, cinemas, but also places of worship, games and dance halls, fairs, salons or even indoor sports establishments.
However, the end of this obligation inside comes when several municipalities in the Alpes-Maritimes, the Pyrénées-Orientales or in Charente-Maritime have restored due to the meteoric explosion of cases of Covid-19, the port compulsory mask outside.
Since last weekend, this has been the case throughout the Pyrénées-Orientales department except on the beaches and large natural spaces or in 45 municipalities of Charente-Maritime since Tuesday.
Employees will have to keep the mask
In these departments, it is likely that wearing a mask indoors will also be decided by the prefects or by operators who will not want to take the risk of seeing a cluster develop.

In addition to the health pass (or test) requested at the entrance, wearing a mask will remain compulsory from the age of 11 throughout the par and in hotels.

As the pass is mandatory from August 30 for employees (places subject to the pass), it is not currently being considered to remove it for these employees, ”the ministry said.
