Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga have announced a second album together on the singer's 95th birthday.

"Love for Sale" should appear on October 1st, it was said on Tuesday on the two Twitter channels.

In addition, the Lady Gaga, 35, linked a sample of the song "I Get A Kick Out Of You", based on the Cole Porter classic.

The singer recalled the duo's first album from 2014, "Cheek To Cheek".

Bennett asked her at the time of the release if she wanted to record another album with songs by Cole Porter.

"It's always an honor to sing with my friend Tony, of course I have accepted this invitation," said Lady Gaga.

On the occasion of Bennett's 95th birthday, the two stars had recently announced two last joint appearances at New York's Radio City Music Hall.

Earlier this year, his family announced that Bennett had Alzheimer's disease and was diagnosed in 2016.

On the advice of his doctors, the multi-award-winning singer, who became famous with world hits like "I Left My Heart in San Francisco", continues to make music and perform.

The last studio album

"Love for Sale" will be the singer's last studio album, reported the music magazine "Rolling Stone".

The joint recordings for this were made between 2018 and 2020.

All titles are interpretations of Cole Porter songs.

Numerous stars congratulated Bennett online on Tuesday, including colleagues like Barbra Streisand, Carole King, Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, Bono, Andrea Bocelli and Billy Joel.

Oscar winner Robert De Niro sent a video greeting message from Oklahoma, USA, where he is in front of the camera for director Martin Scorsese, and John Travolta congratulated him with a card he painted himself.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo officially declared August 3rd "Tony Bennett Day".

"Few people have contributed more to the music and art in New York than Tony," said Cuomo in explanation.

Lady Gaga was last active again as an actress.

After her role in "A Star Is Born", which earned her an Oscar nomination, she now plays in Ridley Scott's "House of Gucci".

After the first trailer of the film, which was announced in US cinemas for November 4th, was released, there was much praise for the Italian accent of the artist, who was born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta.
