Vivendi continues to advance its pawns in the media world of Latin Europe.
After his foray into Italy with Mediaset, after getting his hands on Editis, Prisma press and Lagardère Group in France, Vincent Bolloré is now targeting the Spanish media group Prisa.
He already holds 9.936% of the capital and has requested from the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, the possibility of increasing to 29.9%.
By revealing this request in a press release, Prisa jumped its action by 22% to 0.66 euros on Tuesday.

However, the capital of Prisa is already controlled by the investment fund Amber Capital which holds 29.83% of the shares and Joseph Oughourlian, the founder of Amber, is already chairman of the board of Prisa and has a second representative in this instance.
For its part, Vivendi already has a board member Carmen Fernandez de Alarcon.
Contacted, Amber Capital let it be known that it is not a seller of its stake.
