Bad luck for early '90s pop-rock icons Jon Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams.
The two North American artists were diagnosed positive for the coronavirus and forced to cancel their weekend performances.
Both musicians are vaccinated and have no symptoms.
Jon Bon Jovi (
Livin 'on a Prayer, It's My Life, Bed of Roses, Always)
was scheduled to perform in Miami, Friday through Sunday, as part of an event for his fans that included an acoustic concert, a Q&A, a photo op and a fancy dress party in honor of Halloween.
Bryan Adams was, for his part, to participate, Saturday, in a concert given in Cleveland in tribute to Tina Turner who entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Screened before leaving for Cleveland as required by the rules of the event, the Canadian singer and photographer (
Please Forgive Me, Everything I Do I Do It for You
) was replaced by country singer Keith Urban.
The husband of Nicole Kidman interpreted the iconic duet of his colleague with Tina Turner
It's Only Love
with HER Keith Urban had only three days to prepare and rehearse.
Among the artists on stage was also Christina Aguilera who covered
River Deep, Mountain High.
Filmed by HBO, the evening will air on November 20.
