The Measurement and Evaluation Center at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has set Saturday 11-12-2021 at eleven o’clock the date for the unified informatics engineering exam, the December 2021 session for fifth-year students in the faculties of informatics engineering, software, networks and artificial intelligence in Syrian public and private universities under graduating and those who wish to apply for postgraduate studies.
The center indicated in an announcement that SANA received a copy of it today that the exam will be in writing and its questions are in line with the national academic reference standards “NARS” that specify the minimum level of knowledge and practical skills, and it is a model of multiple-choice questions in the axes of algorithms, data structures, basics of software engineering, artificial intelligence, networks and rules data.
All students of informatics engineering faculties in public and private universities who have only 12 credit hours or four courses left for the academic year 2020-2021, as well as students of non-Syrian universities, in order to equalize their certificates and practice the profession, are subject to the exam, according to the announcement.
The center indicated that students can register for the exam electronically until the twenty-third of this month, and the exam fees for students from inside Syria are paid 8,000 Syrian pounds for students of private universities and 5,000 Syrian pounds for students of public universities in the Syrian Commercial Bank on the account of the center and 150 dollars for advanced students Through the virtual university’s access centers outside Syria on the university’s account.
