The best stadium in Europe? The Westfalen Stadium in Dortmund, the birthplace of Borussia. And the worst? The 'Castellani' of Empoli. This was revealed by a ranking - which is somewhat impromptu - drawn up by the British website 'Money' based on the reviews posted by fans and visitors on three different sources (Tripavdisor, Google and Football Ground Map). If Spain has three plants in the top ten (Santiago Bernabeu, Camp Nou and Wanda Metropolitano), Italy has as many among the ten worst with the 'Penzo' of Venice and the 'Bentegodi' of Verona to keep company with the 'Castellani '. Among the worst 15 there are also the 'Franchi' of Florence and the 'Maradona' of Naples.

The best Italian stadium is San Siro, which is placed in 11 / o place on a par with the Allianz Arena in Munich, while the Allianz Stadium in Turin is only 22 / o. The ranking is not accompanied by reasons, but is a mere result of the sum of the reviews collected by the three aforementioned sites and if the theoretical maximum rating is 5 (which no one reaches), the Empoli stadium stops at 2.90.

Three other facilities do a little better: the Balaidos Stadium of Celta Vigo (Spain, 3.37), the Maksimir of Dinamo Zagreb (3.37), the 'King Baudouin' stadium which hosts the Belgian national team (Brussels, 3.37). The 'Penzo' and the Coliseum 'Alfonso Perez' del Getafe (Spain) stop at a score of 3.43. The 'Bentegodi' (3.47), the 'Franchi' of Florence (3.57) and the 'Maradona' of Naples (3.67) also appear among the 30 less popular stadiums.

At the top of the ranking of the best, after Westfalen (score 4.57), six other facilities are tied, at 4.53: the Arena Nationala in Bucharest, the Camp Nou, the 'Bernabeu', the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, the Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

High score (4.50) also for the unrecognized 'Stadion An der alten foersterei' in Berlin, the home of the Union club, which precedes the Wanda and the legendary Wembley in London (4.47) and then San Siro (4.43).
