(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 11 - Eni's shareholders' meeting has approved the 2021 financial statements closed with a profit of 7.674 billion.
This was announced by the company at the end of the meeting which also approved the payment of the balance of the dividend of € 0.43 per share which will be in circulation at the coupon date, excluding treasury shares in portfolio at that date.
The payment will be made on May 25, 2022, with posting date on May 23, 2022 and "record date" on May 24, 2022. With the 2021 dividend of 0.86 euros per share, to the public in total 940, 6 million euros.
Furthermore, the shareholders 'meeting of Eni, "taking into account the Shareholders' Remuneration Policy approved by the Board of Directors on March 17, 2022, approves the distribution, by way of and in place of the payment of the dividend for the year 2022, of a sum of € 0.88 per share to be executed, in equal tranches, in the months of September 2022, November 2022, March 2023 and May 2023 ".
The total amount that will go to the Treasury will be around 962.5 million.
