The new series The Lord of the Rings has just come to Amazon.
There are many well-known but also fresh faces represented.

The Welshman Owain Arthur slips into the role of the dwarf king Durin IV. But you may have met him in different series.
The new series "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power", of which we watched the first two episodes, is running on Amazon Prime Video and is delighting viewers worldwide.

Today we introduce you to Owain Arthur, the actor of Durin IV.
Durin IV was the descendant of the previous three kings named Durin.
Just like her, he was believed to be a reincarnation of Durin I, as he closely resembled him in manner and appearance.
He wore the Ring of Power given to his ancestor Durin III.

He may have reigned as king during the War of the Last Alliance. Welshman Owain Arthur made his on-camera debut in 2007 in a guest role on the medical series Doctors.
In 2008 he appeared in a supporting role in the historical series The Palace.
After other small roles, Owain Arthur became known when he took on the leading role in the play "Where to, Guvnor?" by James Cordon and was able to convince critics and audiences with his performance.
