(ANSA) - STRASBOURG, SEPTEMBER 15 - Green light from the European Parliament to the loan of 5 billion euros to Ukraine for macro-financial assistance in Kiev with the aim of covering the expenses caused by the Russian invasion.
The amount will go to make up the second tranche of a € 9 billion EU support package.
The text was adopted with an urgent procedure with 534 votes in favor, 30 against and 26 abstentions.
