What may sound like a little getting used to is actually tasty and healthy at the same time, thanks to vitamins and fibre.
Whether switchel, turmeric shot or detox smoothie - there are many drinks that have a fitness promise.
The intention is no different with pumpkin juice with ginger, because thanks to vitamins, minerals and, above all, dietary fiber, the body is happy about every dose of vitamins, especially in the cold season.

Not only Harry Potter fans should treat themselves to a glass of pumpkin juice more often - the bright orange drink has many health benefits and is conjured up in no time at all.
If you harvest the squash yourself, make sure it is ripe.
You need the following ingredients for four glasses of pumpkin juice:
250 grams butternut or Hokkaido squash
400 milliliters of water
100 milliliters of orange juice
50 milliliters of apple juice
Grated Ginger
honey
To prepare, halve the pumpkin (carefully!) lengthwise and scrape out the seeds and fibers with a large spoon.
Then peel the pumpkin halves, roughly dice the flesh and place in a large pot with the water.
Hokkaido squash does not need to be peeled.
Add the apple and orange juice, a tablespoon of honey and some grated ginger.

Stir with a wooden spoon and cook at medium temperature for about ten minutes until the pumpkin pieces are nice and soft.
Allow to cool briefly and finely puree the pumpkin mixture with a fork, allow to cool further.
Pour the finished pumpkin juice into a bottle or glasses and serve well chilled.
