Potatoes, colorful vegetables, fruit and even meat: almost everything can be mashed and eaten.
Thanks to the nutrient density and the high volume, you stay full for a long time.
But is that healthy?
After the Christmas feast, some want to get rid of the annoying extra pounds quickly.
So-called crash diets, which promise to shed kilos quickly, are particularly popular.
They all have in common that you only eat certain foods or keep the portion size small.
Baby porridge diet is cheap, fills you up and melts pounds
It is therefore not surprising that the baby porridge diet is particularly popular with Hollywood stars and supermodels in order to melt annoying kilos in a very short time.
In addition, this weight loss diet seems to be healthier than the cabbage soup diet or the like.

After all, proponents continue to eat a lot of colorful vegetables, low-sugar fruit, meat, oatmeal and the like, but only in pureed form.
This also ensures that the high water content in the intestine quickly creates a feeling of satiety.
Twelve to 14 jars of baby food are allowed per day.
That is about 2,000 grams of porridge and corresponds to 1,200 kilocalories.

If you want, you can also eat one normal meal per day.
However, you should make sure that it is low in calories and low carb, i.e. it is best made of steamed vegetables and proteins in the form of turkey breast, fish or lentils.
If you cook your baby food yourself, you can mix seasonal vegetables with a little sunflower oil to create a homogeneous mass.
But: Sweet porridge with milk, yoghurt and fruit such as bananas or grapes are taboo.
These have too much milk and fructose, which can slow down fat loss.

Avoid the yo-yo effect after a baby food diet
But be careful: This diet is not suitable for long-term weight loss.
Instead, you need a healthy, balanced diet.
Even if baby food is prepared with healthy ingredients, is rich in vitamins and low in salt and fat, in the long run it does not provide enough calories for an adult.

It can also happen that the metabolism shuts down so much that losing weight becomes more and more difficult.

Therefore, it is advisable to gradually increase the calorie intake again over several days and to get the body used to it.
