Iraqi President Barham Saleh called for a national dialogue to discuss the required solutions to the imbalances and to strengthen the national unity in the country, stressing at the same time the need to fortify Iraq from conspiracies.

Saleh also called in a speech on the demonstrations, according to the Iraqi News Agency to restraint and prevent foreigners from interfering in the national dialogue and maintain peaceful demonstrations and stop escalation and wait for the results of steps taken by all parties and authorities to respond to the demands of the demonstrators, pointing out that a judicial investigation will be opened The causes of the violence that occurred during the past days in addition to compensation for those affected.

Saleh called on the Iraqi security services in various formations to address resolutely those who violated the constitution and assaulted citizens and security services and the horror of the media.

The Joint Operations Command in Iraq announced the death of 104 people, including eight members of the security forces and the injury of 6,000 others during the demonstrations, pointing to the presence of malicious hands behind it and that there are investigations to find out who targeted them.

Baghdad and a number of provinces have seen sporadic demonstrations calling for better services and jobs, while Iraqi officials called for community security, non-violence and the safety of demonstrators and security forces.
