Lattakia-Sana
Under the direction of President Bashar Al-Assad, Minister of Education Emad Al-Azab honored three students from the first secondary class in Beit Ana High School in Jableh countryside in Lattakia governorate with a physics teacher for practical application of a two-dimensional laser printer.
The students, Hussein Muhammad Suleiman, and Lama Yaqzhan Salama and Hala Iyad Zahir, along with their teacher Ali Nasr Moalla, succeeded in making a two-dimensional laser printer "CNC" programmed for writing and drawing quickly and with high accuracy as a practical application for their study of theoretical physics course in their class.
Minister Al-Azab assured that President Al-Assad was acquainted with the work accomplished by the students, and that their honor reflects the interest in the creativity and innovation of youth, despite the circumstances that Syria is going through, and that the educational process is one of his priorities because it is the sure guarantee for the advancement of society.
In turn, Latakia Governor Ibrahim Khader Al-Salem pointed out that the honoring is an incentive for the rest of the students and their families to pay attention to science and serious follow-up to the educational process.
Physics teacher Ali Nasr Mualla, student supervisor, indicated in a statement to SANA that the project represents an initiative to apply electronic reality to physics, pointing to the importance of this initiative in light of the development of curricula and the need for practical application of theoretical study.
The students who completed the work expressed their appreciation for the honor they had received from President Al-Assad, which constitutes an incentive for them and other students to continue, noting the importance of participatory work between the students and the teacher to produce such positive results.
Secondary Director Ali Khaddour emphasized that the school administration was a supporter of the teacher and students and a facilitator of the process and that this step represented an incentive for high school students, especially that everyone has become willing to participate in such projects.
The honoring of students coincided with the re-opening of the updated Beit Ana High School with the rehabilitation of the first and second cycle building in it from the budget for popular work.
