The United States is proving once again that it is a rogue state and the mother sponsor of all terrorists who are killing people in a number of Arab countries. When it fails in its mission, as happened on Syrian soil, it uses economic tools to punish the resistance peoples and force them to surrender and accept American custody.

The so-called “Caesar’s Law” is a new stigma added to the criminal record of Washington. It is a crime described against a people who defended and offered their land, a clear violation of international laws and covenants, and an affirmation that its allegations about humanity and its defense are nothing but pure lies.

In Homs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hassan, Dean of the Law Faculty of Al-Baath University, described in a statement to SANA correspondent “Caesar’s Law” a stain on the forehead of America and its allies, and a violation of all international norms and laws that govern relations between countries and peoples.

He pointed out that this law is not strange for the United States sponsoring terrorism, as it is one of the episodes of its plans to pressure the resistance peoples, considering that it is a shame for Washington to deprive people of their most basic living rights, especially medicine and medical supplies, in light of a global pandemic crisis that threatens the whole of humanity.

Al-Hassan pointed out that the Syrian people are able to overcome the unjust consequences of this law by their determination and insistence on life and work.

Dr. Tareq Al-Nahhas, Vice Dean of the College of Law for Scientific Affairs, condemned the unilateral measures pursued by the United States of America, foremost of which is the so-called “Caesar’s Law” that targets basic materials for citizens ’lives, including medicines, which is contrary to the principles of international law.

Al-Nahhas called on the international community to put pressure on the United States to end this farce that could lead to harming the Syrian people who have suffered from the scourges in previous years due to terrorism.

For her part, attorney Nawal Assaf described the "Caesar's Law" as a serious violation of human rights, and it is part of a series of arbitrary measures practiced by Washington against people who resist terrorism and its hegemony and all forms of racial discrimination that they pursue.

Assaf saw that US President Donald Trump, through this forced law, proves that his administration's policy is to starve people and deprive them of their human rights, foremost of which is medicine, at a time when the American mask has fallen, and the reality of Washington and its inability to face the Corona crisis and popular anger against racism has emerged.

Attorney Adham Ibrahim called on the people and the international community to oppose this law that violates the rights of peoples and seeks to weaken them economically, expressing his confidence in the victory of the Syrian people.

In Al-Hasakeh, attorney Kahlan Al-Faris emphasized that the so-called “Caesar’s Law” does not comply with international legal and legal principles with any connection and is rejected according to established and legal principles stating that no member state of the United Nations has the right to impose a law that economically punish another country for passing special political goals.

Lawyer Shaky Bahri Hassan pointed out that the US administration is trying, through the "Caesar Law," to weaken Syria with the aim of implementing its aggressive agendas that are not issued to the Syrian people except death and ruin in a country that only exports love, peace and goodness to the world.

Lawyer Ahmed Al-Salem said that the US administration’s action is illegal and will fail like previous decisions. We, as a people, are required to unite to face the repercussions of this law and strengthen our internal steadfastness, calling on the countries of the world to take humanitarian positions that reveal falsehood and falsehood of American allegations and their efforts to starve and impoverish people.

Lawyer Jamal Al-Aidan stated that the so-called "Caesar's Law" is lost to international legitimacy and is intended to undermine Syria's positions, and if someone deserves the sanctions, it is certainly the American administration to deter it from racist practices against its dark-skinned citizens.

Citizen Ahmed Al-Zubaidi believes that the law is a continuation of the hostile approach of the American administration, targeting the Syrian citizen primarily with the aim of undermining his national convictions and undermining the efforts made over ten years in combating terrorism and its supporters.

Citizen Khalaf Sharaf Al-Din stated that this unjust decision comes within the framework of the American and Zionist aggression against Syria for several years, which failed to undermine the will of our steadfastness and our circumvention over the Syrian Arab Army in our decisive battle to defeat terrorism.
