This period is characterized by the appearance of dozens of gray sharks and finfish in the coastal power plants in Israel.

The spectacular play was documented on Tuesday (Tuesday) in Hadera.

The Nature and Parks Authority and the Diving Authority have warned against diving in the vicinity of sharks.

According to Adi Barash, chairman of the "Sharks in Israel" association and a doctoral student at the University of Haifa, "the hot water released from power plants is the main cause of this aggregation, but there may also be other effects of current, high oxygen content, prey and others that are still unclear."

Yigal Ben-Ari, director of the Marine Unit at the Nature and Parks Authority, noted that there are currents and eddies in the area of the hot water outlet of the power plant where the sharks are concentrated, which could be life-threatening.

This "along with a lot of fishing equipment such as hooks and loose fishing lines, which endangers the divers."

Authorities stressed that the encounter with the sharks is unpredictable or controlled.

The Nature and Parks Authority mentioned that the shark is endangered and is a protected nature value.

"Therefore, he must not be harmed, harassed, fed, etc. Anyone who does so violates the law and risks criminal punishment," they said.

The various entities operating the "Sharks in the Stream" project, including the Nature and Parks Authority and the Hadera Municipality, will operate an information station in order to make the information on sharks accessible to the public, in accordance with the restrictions of the Ministry of Health.

The station will be open on Saturdays depending on the weather.

Details about the station's opening dates will be published online.
