One of the great hopes of the global tourism industry was vaccines.

Now, with more than two and a half million vaccinated Israelis and expecting significant growth soon, Israeli tourists are expected to be the most sought after thing in the world of tourism if all goes well, and there are no vaccine-resistant variants.

Last week, the Seychelles announced that they would allow vaccinated tourists to enter the country, unlike the decision that every tourist entering the country is required to enter isolation.

According to the announcement in the Seychelles, each vaccinated person should also present a negative corona test from the 72 hours prior to arrival in the country, so that tourists can move around freely.

Although Seychelles is the first country to implement the decision, there are other countries that are already signaling that they are expected to take similar steps soon.

The Romanian media and the Romanian airline TAROM reported that in Romania tourists are expected to receive the two doses of the vaccine, 10 days after receiving the second dose.

Another country that according to the reports and statements of its leaders is expected to open its gates to tourists is Cyprus, which will most likely receive tourists from 56 countries as early as March this year.

It is not clear whether there will be an obligation to present a vaccine or whether it will be enough to present a negative result for a corona test, but the country is already preparing for the arrival of tourists.

In recent European debates on the green passport, many countries have already expressed agreement in principle to implement an outline that will allow the movement of vaccinated tourists.

Among the countries is Spain, which on the Schengen countries' website has been announced that it is already on the way to establishing an array that will receive vaccinated tourists.

The Reuters news agency reported that Denmark is already working on the development of a vaccinated passport.

Other countries that support the decision and are expected to allow the entry of vaccinated soon are Greece, Poland, Estonia, Iceland and Belgium.

Georgia, a country much loved by the Israeli tourist, is expected to allow foreign nationals to enter the country next week.

At present it is not clear under what conditions and whether vaccinations or vaccinations will be required, and in this matter it is advisable to wait for the official announcement.

At the same time, in Turkey, which has been requiring corona tests for the past 72 hours from anyone entering the country, they are increasing and offering antibody tests to passers-by at Istanbul airport.

The Turkish airport is the first in the world to take such a step.

Passengers will be able to get results for antibody tests within two to four hours and at significantly lower costs than those we are used to paying in Israel.

Prices range from NIS 110-200 for a quick antibody test for any passenger who wants it.

Turkey, as I recall, already receives tourists from Israel and has been so throughout the Corona period.

The Turkish airline, Turkish Airlines, was the foreign airline that operated the most flights to Israel before the Corona era.

Although Ben-Gurion Airport is closed to commercial flights at least until next Sunday, industry executives estimate that the aviation and tourism industries are already seeing a recovery towards March and the spring months.

IATA (International Airlines) is already working on an international green passport, and the Israeli Ministry of Health has already stated, as first reported in "Israel Today", that those vaccinated with the two doses that will wait a week in Israel from the day of receiving the second dose can return to Israel from any country abroad. Without the need for isolation in the country, which is expected to greatly assist in the rehabilitation of the aviation and tourism industry.
