This Wednesday, March 3, the Reims prosecutor Matthieu Bourrette gave at a press conference many details on the attack on photo-journalist Christian Lantenois, which occurred on February 27 in Reims in the Croix-Rouge district.

This ultra-violent assault unfolded within 57 seconds.
While Christian Lantenois was trying to take pictures of a group of young people who were obviously preparing to do battle with other young people, he was spotted by several individuals.
Vital prognosis still engaged
One of them then rushed towards the 60-year-old and punched him, then with the victim's camera.

The 21-year-old suspected of having hit Christian Lantenois was identified and arrested on March 1.

The suspect is presented this Wednesday to an examining magistrate for an indictment, in particular for "aggravated murder".
The prosecution requested the provisional detention of Anes Saïd K., already sentenced eight times.
