The head of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, the Vice President of the Iranian-Syrian Parliamentary Friendship Group, Abbas Clro, condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli aggression that targeted the vicinity of Damascus recently.
During his meeting with the Syrian ambassador to Tehran, Dr. Shafiq Dyoub, Clro stressed that Iran’s leadership, government and people stand by Syria until a complete victory over takfirist terrorism, stressing the importance of parliamentary cooperation and working to strengthen economic and trade relations between the two countries.
For his part, Diop stressed the need to strengthen the strategic and historical relations between the two countries in the fields of economy, science, technology, agriculture, health and culture, stressing the bilateral parliamentary cooperation that would enhance the efforts made within the framework of comprehensive cooperation in the interest of the two friendly countries and peoples.
Dioub praised Iran's positions in support of Syria in its war against terrorism.
