Among those who suffered domestic violence, 84.9% were women and 15.1% were men.
The most people said they were violently treated by their husbands, with 1593 cases, accounting for 61.2%; the second were heterosexual couples with 372 cases.
Calculated by district, Yuen Long was the district with the most domestic violence cases, with 328 cases, accounting for 12.6%, and Kwai Tsing and Kwun Tong ranked second and third.
The area with the fewest cases in Hong Kong is Wan Chai. Last year, 50 people suffered domestic violence, accounting for 1.9%.
In terms of sexual violence, there are 674 cases in 2020, of which 462 people have been assaulted, accounting for 68.5%, followed by 146 people (21.7%) who have been raped or have involuntary sexual intercourse.
In addition, 26 people (3.9%) have experienced multiple types of sexual violence.
Among those who have suffered sexual violence, 96.7% are women and 3.3% are men.
The most people said they had been sexually assaulted by strangers, 327 cases, accounting for 48.5%.

Calculated by region, Yau Tsim Mong was the area with the most cases of sexual violence, with 83 cases, accounting for 12.3%, and Central and Western District and Sha Tin ranked second and third.
